Attention SHS Students attending Newport Tech Center for classes. The Winter Break at Newport is different than the Winter Break at SHS.
Newport HS Winter Break: February 21st – 25th
SHS Winter Break: February 28th - March 4th
SHS students are encouraged to attend your Newport Tech Class but not required. Many Tech classes do require a minimum amount of hours to get certification, so please check with your Newport Tech Teacher.
Newport HS Students taking Tech classes at the Claremont Tech are also encouraged to attend their Tech classes but not required. Many Tech classes do require a minimum amount of hours to get certification, so please check with your Claremont Tech center Teacher.
Also, buses from Claremont to Newport and Newport to Claremont will NOT be running! You will need to find your own transportation if you are attending class.
