Are you interested in learning how to program computers and developing software and apps?
Each year the US House of Representatives sponsors the Congressional App Challenge to showcase software built by middle and high school students.
We are looking at starting an after-school program to help students learn foundational computer science and web application development. We will help students who are interested form teams to submit projects to the App Challenge next fall.

We will host an informational meeting at the Tech Center in late October to gauge interest. No previous programming experience required! Anyone who is interested can join, even if you don't want to participate in the App Challenge.
