Claremont Adult Learning Center

The Claremont Adult Learning Center will be closing on June 26, 2025.

There will be official HiSET testing for those who are registered through June 26.

As of March 27th, we are no longer accepting new Adult Diploma Students.

As of April 17th, we are unable to administer the practice HiSET tests to students not currently registered with the Claremont Adult Learning Center.

There are options for those who are looking to complete their educational goals - below are some of the programs located near to the area and those that can be completed online.

For student looking to prepare for the HiSET

Keene Community Education - Keene Community Education

Students should email Heather Jasmin, Keene Community Education Director, at hjasmin@sau29.org to begin the registration process.  Classes are Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 and Thursday mornings from 9-12. Classes are offered both in person and online. Instruction is available to use the online learning program.

Concord, NH - run by Second Start

Students should fill out the state portal to get started with registration and Second Start will reach out to discuss needs.

For students looking to earn an Adult Diploma

Kearsarge Regional High School  - Kearsarge Adult Diploma Program

Adult students should email Sha Boyle (Assistant Director) at sboyle@kearsarge.org and Persis Wirkkala (Director)  pwirkkala@kearsarge.orgHigh School Students must meet with their current School Counselor to create an Alternative Learning Plan.

Keene Community Education - Keene Community Education

Manchester, NH Adult Education Program - Manchester Adult Diploma Program

Adult Students:  Rolling admissions for an online program - students may begin at any time. Many details are on the website and questions can be directed to Rob Kleinman at rkleiman@mansd.org.  

High School Students:  A high school student may apply to enroll in any adult education class provided that they receive prior approval from their Principal, School Counselor, and if they are under 18 years old, their parent/guardian/caregiver.  Many details are on the website and questions can be directed to Rob Kleinman at rkleiman@mansd.org.  

Concord Adult Diploma Program Concord School District ADP

Classes are offered year round.  The next session starts in summer of 2025 and will be virtual.  Adult Students should email Krystin Cooney, Adult Diploma Program Director at Kcooney@sau8.org to receive a pre-registration document and Release of Information form to request a high school transcript.  High School Students and those 17 and under must work with a school counselor to enroll.
